The Forward Foundation calendar is a public resource designed to publicize island events and coordinate scheduling. One can post new events to the calendar in a variety of sub-calendars, including arts, music, business and technology, and more. Sub-calendars can be downloaded and subscribed to in various calendar programs.

These calendars can be shared and help plan and coordinate events. However, to limit clutter please do not list reoccurring events more than once a week. Event posting is moderated by the Foundation, which reserves the right to remove and edit any and all events.

Some posting guidelines:

• List reoccurring events at a maximum of once per week to avoid clutter and promote general usefulness.
• Use event titles such as "Something @ Somewhere". For instance, "Plant sale @ Lyon Arboretum".
• Keep your event descriptions short, no more than a concise paragraph or two and formatted in one continuous line. Visit the Forward Foundation calendar summary page to see examples.
• Put email addresses and URLs in your event description to send people to more information.
